Since its creation by Louis Cartier in 1917, the Cartier Tank has been associated with some of the worlds most renowned figures from Royalty to actors, from politicians to sports stars. The Cartier Tank is an iconic piece, steeped in horological history. Its design has certainly stood the test of time taking on a variety of different forms. The piece we have here is the Cartier Santos.

This piece is in a fair condition. Starting with the white dial which is in its original condition with clear type, the dial has some light marks in the center of the dial around bottom of the hands. The diamond set gold bezel is fitted to the 29mm 18ct gold case has some wear such as hairline scratches and other marks consistent with use. The case is fitted with its iconic sapphire crown. Housed behind the screw down case back is an automatic movement which is clean and running well. The crystal is in good condition. The watch is fitted on a generic black leather strap and buckle.
