This Audemars Piguet Royal Oak is a ref. 14790SA. Released in the 1990s with full stainless steel and full gold variations, Audemars Piguet also produced, although to a fewer figure, tantalum and steel and gold variations. This watch bares a D serial dating it to the 90s making this piece a MK1 ref. 14790SA. The waffle dial has applied gold hour markers and hands, a quickset date window at 3 o’clock and a minute track. The dial is stamped 'SWISS MADE' below the 6 o'clock hour marker. The distinctive 18ct gold bezel is fitted on the 36mm stainless steel and 18ct gold case which is in good condition. The case has some light hairline scratches which can be polished out upon the buyers request and cost. We have opted to leave the case as is, as we believe it to be in its original condition. Housed inside is an automatic AP movement which is in great condition and running very well having just undergone a full service. The watch is on its original stainless steel and 18ct gold Audemars Piguet bracelet, which is in a similar condition to the case.
