This Audemars Piguet Royal Oak is a ref. 4100ST. Released in 1977 until 1987, Audemars Piguet produced only 2,721 units with 192 in its first year. A striking contrast to its final year in 1987 where they produced as little as 3 units. The waffle or Tapisserie T21 dial has applied hour markers and hands, a quickset date window at 3 o’clock and a minute track. The dial is stamped 'SWISS' below the 6 o'clock hour marker. The distinctive stainless steel bezel is fitted on the 35mm stainless steel case which is in fantastic condition. Housed inside is an automatic cal. 2123 movement which is in great condition and running very well having just undergone a full service. The watch is on its original stainless steel Audemars Piguet bracelet, which very much like the case, is in fantastic condition and form.
