The piece we have here is the Cartier Tank Americaine which was released in 1989, with the Francaise following shortly in 1989. There are a few sizes of the Americaine, yet all with the same stretched form for a perfect fit on the wrist.

The Cartier Tank Americaine ref. W2607456 is in good condition. Starting with the dial which is in its original, clean condition with clear and defined type. The 19x35mm 18ct gold case is in good condition. The case is diamond set and fitted with a sapphire set crown. Housed behind the screw down case back is a quartz movement which is clean and running well. The watch is fitted on its leather strap with an 18ct gold Cartier buckle.
