Since its creation by Louis Cartier in 1917, the Cartier Tank has been associated with some of the worlds most renowned figures from Royalty to actors from politicians to sports stars. The Cartier Tank is an iconic piece, steeped in horological history. Its design has certainly stood the test of time taking on a variety of different forms. The piece we have here is the Cartier Tank Francaise, which was released 1996, shortly after the release of the Amercaine in 1989.

This piece is a reference 1821 and has an off white dial. The 25×30mm 18ct gold case is fitted with a sapphire set crown. The case is in a used condition with some hairline marks. This piece can be polished at the buyers request and cost. Inside is a quartz Cartier movement which is running well. The watch is on a brown leather strap and 18ct Cartier buckle.
