TUDOR OYSTER AUTOMATIC 'BUMPER' REF. 951 CIRCA 1940S
TUDOR OYSTER AUTOMATIC 'BUMPER' REF. 951 CIRCA 1940S
In recent years Tudor has seen a huge spike in interest across the watch community. The brand is the definition of ‘value for money’ or ‘bang for your buck’. Evident in models such as the Submariner and its many iterations, the Date Day and lest we forget, the Oyster. The patina dial with black type and the small rose emblem is fitted with syringe style hands and applied markers and arabic numeral hour markers. Measuring at 34mm, the stainless-steel case is fitted with a smooth bezel and a Rolex signed crown and a semi bubble screw down case back. The case is in a fair condition with signs of wear, mostly hairline scratches and other marks. Housed inside is a rare automatic bumper Tudor signed movement which is running well. The watch has been paired with a stainless steel riveted bracelet.
