Since its creation by Louis Cartier in 1917, the Cartier Tank has been associated with some of the worlds most renowned figures from Royalty to actors from politicians to sports stars. The Cartier Tank is an iconic piece, steeped in horological history. Its design has certainly stood the test of time taking on a variety of different forms. The piece we have here is the Cartier Tank Francaise, which was released 1996, shortly after the release of the Amercaine in 1989.

This piece is a reference W5101755 and has a guilloche dial. The 30×35mm stainless steel case is fitted with a sapphire set crown. The case is in a used condition with some hairline marks. Inside is an automatic Cartier movement which is running well. The watch is on a brown leather strap and Cartier deployment clasp. This piece also comes with its guarantee papers dated 2002.
