The piece we have here is the Cartier Tank Americaine which was released in 1989, with the Francaise following shortly in 1989. There are a few sizes of the Americaine, yet all with the same stretched form for a perfect fit on the wrist.

The Cartier Tank Americaine ref. W2601556 is in good condition. Starting with the dial which is in its original, clean condition with clear and defined type. The 19x35mm 18ct gold case is in a fair used condition with hairline marks present. This piece can be polished at the buyers request and cost. The case is fitted with a sapphire set crown. Housed behind the screw down case back is a quartz movement which is clean and running well. The watch is fitted on its leather strap with an 18ct gold Cartier buckle.
